Our practice will open gradually starting on May 4.
We are planning to start a gradual ramp-up of our office on Monday, May 4th.
We have a very large backlog of appointments to reschedule and will be working off a triage list and prioritizing emergencies and urgencies first. This will be a slow and deliberate ramping up. We will be bringing on hygienists one at a time over the next few weeks as demand dictates.
We have always followed a very strict protocol for infection control and will continue to follow these protocols. We have added some additional processes for whole office protection and prevention over and above what we have always done.
For the near future, we will be working Monday-Thursday, from 8 am – 5 pm. We will be using Fridays to meet and refine our processes on a continual basis in the short term and adding Friday hours again when it is obvious we have the demand and staffing to cover that day adequately for you.
Additional information regarding COVID-19
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) is central to responding to this threat and a good source of information. More information regarding how to protect yourself can be found on their website.
The CDC provides dentists with a list of Standard Precautions, which we have followed for years and will always continue to follow. Their guidelines are instrumental in keeping our patients and staff safe as well as preventing the spread of any infection. Additional resources:
